|On July 10th, 2013 Assoc. Prof. Dr. Charun Bunyakan, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), with his associate deans, heads and representatives from all departments have warmly welcomed Asst. Prof. Dr. Nutapong Somjit, a representative from School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, University of Leeds, UK.|
The main aim of this visit is to discuss possibility academic cooperation. The discussion can be agreed into 3 issues. The first issue is to establish a 3+1+1 program in Electrical and Computer Engineering for the pilot project. That’s meant students will study for 3 years at Faculty of Engineering, PSU and 1 year at U. of Leeds. If students could achieve 60%, they can go directly of U. of Leeds MSc program if they wish. The second issue is to jointly write research proposals for granting from sources, such as EU etc. The third issue is to exchange academic staff for visiting professor or doing research and students for practical training.
